Introduction

These Terms apply to services provided by Smart Taxi Solutions.

1. Our service

Smart Taxi Solutions provides independent taxi and private hire licensing application and administrative support.

Services may include

• •Medical assessment arrangements

2. Licensing authority

Smart Taxi Solutions is not a council, government department or licensing authority. The relevant licensing authority is solely responsible for deciding whether an application is approved, refused or subject to conditions.

3. No guarantee

Purchasing our service does not guarantee that a taxi or private hire licence will be granted. The outcome depends on the requirements, checks, tests and decision of the relevant licensing authority.

Training, qualifications & licences

Smart Taxi Solutions provides independent application support and training coordination for taxi and private-hire licensing. Where a recognised qualification or specialist training is required, we arrange training through the relevant training academy or authorised training provider, and customers may be required to attend the training provider’s premises for classroom, practical training or assessments. Any qualification or certificate is issued by the relevant awarding organisation, where applicable, and any taxi/private-hire licence is issued by the relevant licensing authority. Smart Taxi Solutions does not issue qualifications, certificates or taxi/private-hire licences and cannot guarantee examination or licensing outcomes.

4. Customer responsibility

Customers must provide complete, accurate and genuine information and documents and must comply with requirements of the relevant licensing authority and authorised providers.

5. DBS

Where required, Smart Taxi Solutions assists with administrative arrangements and directs customers to the appropriate DBS provider. Smart Taxi Solutions does not issue DBS certificates.

6. Medical

Where required, Smart Taxi Solutions assists with arrangements with the relevant medical provider. Smart Taxi Solutions does not conduct medical examinations or provide medical advice.

7. Processing times

Council and third-party processing times are outside our control and cannot be guaranteed.

8. Payment

Prices and available payment methods are displayed during the purchase process.

9. Refunds

Refunds are subject to the applicable service terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.

10. Third-party services

Certain parts of the licensing process may involve councils, DBS providers, medical providers and payment providers. Their independent decisions, requirements and processing times are outside our control.

11. Data protection

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
